ABSTRACT
This study used a survey design to examinethe relationship between job satisfaction and teachers performance among secondary school teachers in Isoko North Local Government Area of Delta State. The study was guided by four (4) research questions. The population included all the teachers of the selected schools in study in the study area. While the sample used for the study included 119teachers cutting across the seven selected schools in the study area. An instrument called relationship between job satisfaction and teachers performance (RBJSATP) was developed by the researcher for this study. The data gathered and collated was analyzed using frequency tables and percentages. While the hypotheses were tested using Pearson Correlation, Statistical Tool. The findings of the study indicated that teachers performance is affected when they are denied participation in the schools decision-making process. The findings also indicated that there is a significant relationship between teacher’s performance and lack of facilities as chairs, laboratory equipment, adequate classrooms.With respect to the findings of the study, the researcher recommended that secondary school teachers should be paid and given their returns in regard with time value of money and without delay, given enough time for social simulation (to meet their family, friends, shopping etc.), promoted equally without delay, to offer good job condition, for example, housing and transport for teachers should be of importance and educational leaders (administrators) should use no any kind of threat to their subordinators.
